Unable to connect to DB

My site suddenly started to give me an error that it is unable to connect to DB when going to admin zone, when not – it’s basically a blank page. Although it has all the posts (which are in DB).
I also can connect to the DB via SQL client. What might be the problem?

At first glance, all your links in your code appear correct

Possibly an issue with your w3tc plugin?

I didn’t make any changes recently… Or ever.

There weren’t any issues for two months, how come it would appear with no apparent reason?

There have been some problems with the minify option in the recent version of W3TC.

There could be major problems if you try to deactivate the plugin using FTP, so the best that I can suggest is that you try contacting the plugin dev: http://www.w3-edge.com/contact/ for advice.

Try Ctrl+F5. It isn’t loading for me, a bunch of people I know, esmi and Voodoo. Must be cached.

Okay, I removed the w3tc, but the site still isn’t working, still getting DB error. I can connect to the DB from a SQL client. I’m out of ideas.

I would then contact my host if your site is experiencing connection issues with the cache disabled.

Might be a configuration issue

I had a similar issue recently and the hosting company resolved it very quickly – I think by rebooting the server.

Yes, I already contacted them. My site is still offline though… Well, thanks for all the help.
