Plugin to patch another plugin?

    Howdy. I find that with certain plugins I use, every time I update them to the latest version, there’s a couple pieces of code that I like to remove for my own personal hacks. I’ve never done much with plugin development, so I’m curious if there’s a way I can program my own plugin to apply all my little hacks to other plugins? Can anyone point me in the right direction?
