There should be an underscore there. If that’s actually missing, could be your culprit.

Sorry for not being more specific. There’s no underscore between “the” and “permalink”

Yeah it’s there also, but it’s not obvious in paste bin. I sort of got past that issue but now I’m unable to access some of my pages. The error message references the function.php.

It’s happening on firefox but not chrome. Unable to access some pages….the error is:
