Password Problems after updating WP & Browser

Hi. I updated to the newest version of WP, then it told me to update my borwser because it wasnt secure & was outdated. it was an older version of internet explorer, i dont know which version. so i updated the browser as well. when i tried to log back into WP it wouldnt let me. it didnt give error messages or anything, just stayed on the login screen. my co-worker & i tried the emergency reset script & using the ftp from the functions.php file but still i cannot login to WP.

can someone help please???
