Download Not Working | WordPress.org

Hi,
I have tried several times over the past week or so to download WordPress with no success. I keep getting an error indicating the server may be down. Is there a problem (haven’t noticed an announcement to that effect on your site)?
Thanks,
ronster

Sometimes you can try downloading the other file (if you’re trying the zip, try the tar.gz, or vice versa….)

Thanks vkaryl; I should have mentioned that each download attempt has been with both file types – same results with either.

Is anyone else having this problem? Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks.

I downloaded it again just now. Absolutely no trouble at all – and that’s on dialup, and crap 30 year old analog lines at that.

Thanks for the tip, amory! Evidently IE6 doesn’t like the WordPress server for some reason. I successfully downloaded from

Thanks again,
