Plugin Request: Progress/Saving Monitor

progress bar plugin

I would like a plugin that would probably be really simple for some PHP/WordPress guru.

I want something in the Admin panel where I can create items/quests/etc and set the amount/upper limit and then set the current (edit the current or anything else). Have it saved in a DB, and then have it displayed in the sidebar. I would be nice to have a graphic bar or text bar option as well.

Something that says:
I am saving for a Computer. I have $200 out of my needed $1200.

database table
-id
-item
-currently at
-end amount
-image (yes/no)
-width
-text color
-bar color

Anyone else see the usefulness of this and is willing to do it?

Plugin does just as you want, just doesn’t validate as there are missing alt tags. all the different colors and sections were too much a hassle for me to weed through. If anyone comes across a validated version, I’d love to to use it again. Also a way to add more colors without opening the images in PS and making them your self.

Mine validates fine, miklb. I just added the alt tags – I think that was all (and I validate to xhtml strict, btw).

Colors – yeah, you have to do those yourself. PSP makes it easy.
