Uplolad Script Directory For WordPress Update – Memory Upgrade

    I am trying to upgrade WP but I have a limit set on memory of 32mb.
    With webhost tech support I have been advised that I need to place a .htacess within the upload script directory as mentioned below.

    ‘create a .htaccess file in the folder holding the upload script.’

    Where can I fin this script exactly so that I may be able to upload .htaccess file?
