404 error | WordPress.org

I messed around with ‘Site URL’ in ‘Settings’ and now when I try and use anything else in dashboard a 404 comes up. I changed from http://visitE1.com/wordpress to just http://visitE1.com/ but now I can’t change it back and am unable to access anything besides the widgets area.

Any suggestions?

You have to move the site files to the root folder and then update the database with one of these methods…

Then you have to make sure none of your plugins meed to be updated to show the new path.
