Sidebar gone mad!

Hi there,

I created a basic theme from a static html site and all was fine until I started tweaking the index.php. Now my sidebar has gone mad! I haven’t touched the css so know that the padding and entry widths should be correct.

If the <?php get_sidebar(); ?> is placed at the beginning of the div all its styling disappears and it floats left above the posts. If the <?php get_sidebar(); ?> is placed at the end of the div the sidebar sits below the posts.

I know I had this working correctly this morning – can anyone see what stupid mistake I have made cos after an hour of head-scratching I can’t see a thing!!
