I had my blog up and running. I tinkered with it a bit and it started to look more like what I envisioned. Then I made a huge mistake. In the dashboard I cleared out all the pages in one swoop. Now, I cannot open the web page. However I can manually type in the page with the wp-login and login to the dashboard. If I create and view a page while in the dashboard I can see the page as I origionally created it. After saving that test page and trying to access teh site again I receive a URL redirect error in the Opera Browser and it cycles endlessly in IR9, the page never opens. I have tried alternate themes and see no way to restore the pages I deleted.

I’m not sure what the heck I did, but appreantly I did it well. Any ideas? Can this be fixed semi-easily without reinstalling wordpress? HELP!

  • aren’t the pages in recycle bin? Enable the default them twenty-eleven and check!

Under Settings -> Reading, what have you set “Front Page Displays” to?

nsathees, unforunately they were deleted…I have an odd, often times work making, habit of emptying my recycle bin fairly often.

After staying up fairly late last night I found that a plugin I loaded (membership plugin) was causing the issue. Once it was removed, the website immediately came up. Needless to say, I won’t be doing that again.

Thank you both for your help.
