You can always go here http://pagespeed.googlelabs.com/ and analyze your site’s performance. You can then address specific issues that are found. A little optimization goes a long way!

No. Any page that loads in less than 10 secs is usually fine.
It loaded in under 3 seconds for me. Which is plenty fast. If you want it to run any faster you could try a plugin that will minify the js and css. You could also add Expires Headers, configure ETags, use gzip compression if your server can handle it.
