I have there a table called EME initials with ~500 entries now set to 25 per page. At my computer that shows 25 each but when going on my business laptop or from another computer it shows only the full list. Also the selection 10-100 is not possible. Could that be a Java problem ?

additional information:
at one PC I upgraded FireFOX to actual version 6 now it’s fine. Witt Chrome and older FF version failure display is there.
So it’s a browser problem.

this seems to be a JavaScript problem, indeed.
When inspecting your page with the Chrome Debugging Tools, it is reported that the file “magiczoom.js” from the “magiczoom-for-wordpress” plugin could not be loaded. Due to that, some JavaScript code seems to break, which leads to all the other JS code (including the features on tables) to break as well.
Fixing this might be as easy as adding that file again. Or you can try to deactivate that plugin.
