• I am using woopresses free Premium News theme, but their support is locked to paying customers only. For some reason the images for my featured section, and thumbnails on the front page that should be next to the article title are not showing up. I have found others with this problem, but I have not found a solution yet. One person mentioned that the theme was looking for the images in a different directory than the default upload directory, so I changed the default but that didn’t work. Another blogger went into the theme’s function.php file and changed something, but that didn’t work for me either. I really dig this theme, but it will be unusable to me if I cannot work this out.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I’ll also take suggestions for other free magazine themes.

    Thanks.

  • It’s really hard to help without a link. Unless you can give us a link we can’t see your source code and css and so we have no way of finding out what’s going on.

So if it’s at all possible, a link would be nice. If you can’t provide a link, you’ll just have to hope somebody who’s already fixed the problem stumbles across your post.

Either that or you should pay for support. That’s the problem (or the virtue, depending on how you look at it) with non-free themes.

    Cheers
