    Your SLIDESHOW doesn’t have excerpts. You have them all listed below that, though, in your posts excerpts.

    You’re seeing the automatic excerpt. That’s what happens when you use the_excerpt() in your theme, without making a custom excerpt.

    You can either start making custom excerpts (which is the best way, SEO and reader wise) to go, or read http://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Tags/the_content
