slideshow no longer working after wordpress/nextGEN upgrade

    after the recent updates to WordPress 3.2.1 and nextGEN 1.8.3 [slideshow=4,530,292] stopped working;

    the slideshow appears on my homepage loganvillagecc.org.au; based on template on a custom templete ‘home’

    [slideshow id=4 w=530 h=292] doesn’t work either;

    any ideas?

    I am having the same problem. Since the upgrade when you click on a thumbnail it just shows the bigger picture in a new page. I then have to click the back button to view the gallery again. Before when I clicked the thumbnails it used to pop open a gallery to view.

    Hey,

    Have you found a solution to this? Just trying to get my website up and the gallery pictures were opening in a pop up window perfectly…and now they open in a new page.

    Just trying to figure a cool enough plug in that can do the same as Nextgen…But really just want nextgen to work the way it used too!

    I downgraded to 1.8.2

    Works a lot better…silly upgrade!

    How can I downgrade to 1.8.2? Not sure how to do that.

    You can find previous versions here nextgen-gallery From there just FTP the unzipped folder to your plugins directory on your server.

    This did not resolve the issue unfortunately. Any way I can downgrade my wordpress to the previous version?

    hi guys,
    I think i’m having the same issue here, cannot get the slideshow to work with those versions listed above. also downgraded to 1.8.2 but still not working. Have you got it to work since ?

    I still haven’t found a solution to this issue as well. Still waiting and hoping.
