wp contacts echo to return mod

Hi all!
I’m using a plugin called wp-contacts, code at pastebin here.

My problem is that when using it’s shortcodes (contactdir_directory and contactdir_addform) the output is echoed so the contents is placed above everything else on the page.

I’ve searched the forum and came across a few posts saying you should use “return” instead of “echo” but since I’m not a real programmer and the plugin is not developed by me I’m having trouble modifying the plugin.

Any help would be appreciated!
