When hiding a wordpress site

    I saw some suggestions to use MAMP to work offline on my wp site. I have to be able to show it to the team, though, which is spread out. So, is editing the htaccess file the best method, adding just the ip’s of those on the team?

    THere are all sorts of thoughts on this. A lot of people work locally on a MAMP, LAMP or WAMP stack, then upload to development site witch can be a subdomain or even a directory. Kinda up to you.
