• I’m having some issue with my blog title.

I have All In One SEO installed.
I make a post with a custom title in the AIO settings like normal.

But when I search google for my page I see “-Elcoyoteky” attached to me titles.

    Example

I have gone into my AIO settings and and have my “Post Title format” setups like this:

    %post_title%

    And that’s it.

Why does that “-Elcoyoteky” keep getting attached?

    Any ideas?

  • Is that what your site is called. Most of the time the SEO plugin use your post title then the blog title and a – or | between them.

It also can take a while for google to update their results, I would check your pages via view source to make sure what you see in the page title and meta data is what you want.

I had “Teky” as my blog title in the SEO Plugin settings so I went ahead and deleted that too tonight. The normal “settings” area for wordpress is blank too so I don’t know where google is pulling that info from. I know that I will have to wait for google to update again to see if any change has happened.

Nope, nothing that I can see if the source code :/

This sucks for my seo stuff. I went ahead and did a AIO SEO settings reset just now and reverted my format to ” %post_title% ” of course.

I did see what thing that was interesting though after the rest.

“SEO for Custom Post Types:” That box is no longer checked and compared to my other sites that I don’t have issue on this is the same with them

    And:

“Autogenerate Descriptions:” is no longer checked.

Hopefully that was the issue as this is really annoying.

    Thanks for your input.
