It’s now a universal login. Your username here is the same as your plugin author name. So I guess the short answer would be “no”.
Is there no moderators around that would be able to sort it out for a bribe?

The plugins site IS using your name like here, just not the DISPLAY name.

I just logged in and managed to change it, however, not sure if it takes a while to update? the url is still the same?

The name on the plugins I THINK depends on what you put in the readme.txt.
