• I realise I must be missing something, and possibly something very obvious, but I’ve scanned the forums and the web sites but I simply can’t find any clues.

    I’ve got a multisite setup, with 5 subsites using subdirectories, and have installed Events Manage (used it on an initial launch site and loved it by the way), happily it asked me if I wanted to enable multisite, and I said yes, but events don’t show on the sub site.

    I’ve activated the plugin on that site, but I’m guessing I need to change the default page perhaps, I really don’t have a clue I very naively just expected it to work.

    Can anyone point me at some multisite documentation or suggest a solution? I’m kinda lost but don’t want to give up.

  • did you network activate/enable EM on the main site?

    need to write some up, but when you create an event it shows either on the subsite or on the main site, not on every subsite. you can however use shortcodes and the blog attribute to selet the events from a blog id.

    @angelonwl Yes, I tried network activating it, and individual activate, no difference.

    @marcus OK, I’ll investigate the shortcodes then because what I’d like to have is community events listed across all sites, and local activities just on the single sub site.

    It sounds like I might struggle to get these in a date ordered list if I can’t combine the global listing with the local listing.

    I have a way of doing the split using a category/tag plugin for posts, so maybe I can work with that and try and filter the global list down for each site.

    Unless someone can tell me another way, or that it’s not possible right now?

    If I get it working I’ll respond here…… or just cry into my keyboard…..
