It’s someone – or a bot – looking for a plugin you may have installed in order to hack you.
So what can I do to keep from getting hacked? This isn’t the first error I’ve gotten on my plug ins….
I use some security plugins.
General all around WP security:
BulletProof Security
Exploit Scanner
WP Security Scan
TAC – this one looks at your themes to see if there’s anything hinky going on. Many theme makers put code in their themes that can easily be exploited and this will tell you.

You definitely want the TAC plugin.
I have all of them installed. Overkill? Maybe. Am I plugin happy? For sure. They don’t clash and I haven’t had issues with them. I was hacked once and I’d rather it not happen again if I can help it. My hack wasn’t from any of the core wordpress files – it was because of a theme I installed that had malicious code in it.

Ok, so I got on my WordPress blog last night to find that I had 16 (!!!) 404 errors all having to do with my plugins and the css text… so do I need to do more than just install the security plug ins for them to work? (like I said, I’m not very computer savvy….)
