    Hi there!

I am just starting with WP, so, I apologize in case this has already been asked a million times. (My research didn’t find anything though.)

I’ve tried a hundred themes but I asume that my problem is rather core related.

When I click on a main menu link, it gets and stays highlighted / selected. This is ok and exactly as I want this. Now, if this menu item has child menues and I click on one of those, the parent menu is no longer selected. Equally, this happens as well if you click on a post excerpt.

From a user’s perspective, this is rather irritating since they lose focus under what main menu they are.

Is there a fix for this? Could anyone help me getting this done, so, that the parent menu will stay active / selected unless I select another parent menu.
