Importing Blogger to WordPress

    So i imported a medium sized blogger into my new wordpress design and I have the character “>”

    before every title and post content.

    I did a search and found this: http://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/13458

    does this actually work? I was confused by the (wontfix) .. does this not work?

    Is there a solution to this blogger import issue?
