Plugin installation – Folder already exists

    I have reinstalled wordpress and when I try to install e-commerce it says

    Downloading install package from http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/wp-e-commerce.3.8.5.zip…

    Unpacking the package…

    Installing the plugin…

    Destination folder already exists. /customers/0/d/a/popboutique.se/httpd.www/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/wp-e-commerce/

    Plugin install failed.

    I have already tried to delete the old e-commerce file in /wordpress/wp-content/plugins through an ftp client. Still doesnt work..

    Please help!

    Does it have something to do with me not uninstall it correctly the first time?

    (I just deleted the whole wordpress folder in the http://ftp..)
