• Its a me, seem to be having a few teething problems.

Unless you have an admin account, you don’t seem to be able to put pictures in unless theres a caption. While not the end of the world, I would like things running smoothly.

    Thank you

Never seen this before. What theme are you using?

To the best of my knowledge, it happens on both the 2010 and 2011 themes. Worst comes to worst I’ll tell them to make sure that there’s a caption of some sort, people are picky though unfortunatly.

I’ve just tested this on Twenty Eleven and I can insert a pre-existing image without a caption into a post when logged in with Editor status.

So are you just confirming that it should be working?

    With Editor status, yes.

Right…..but it’s not working is my point 😛

Just to clarify, I’m using multisites, but no account other than my intiial administrator account will do add a picture unless a caption is given, despite the fact that they are administrator of their own site, sorry if I wasn’t clear.

You could try re-posting in the Multisite forum but I don’t see how multisite would affect this. My guess is that this is something specific to your installation.

..Ooops!!! Could have sworn I clicked there.

    Thanks for trying 🙂
