• I installed Linkwithin months ago and it still is not working correctly. “You may also like” and the Linkwithin name are visible but it isn’t posting anything, not even text.

I’ve tried contacting Linkwithin directly by email and the contact form on their site at least 6 times and no response. (I’m surprised to read that others have had a positive experience with their customer service.)

I’ve also compared the code running on a friend’s site where it is working correctly and I don’t see any difference except the number for the site.

I’ve also deleted and reinstalled the plug-in twice.

How can I get it to work?

  • I have the exact same trouble. I also e-mailed LinkWithin and didn’t get a response. I deleted the plugin, and got a new one several times, and gave up. I’ve used other plugins, and every once in awhile, try LinkWithin again, but nada. Right now I’m using Outbrain, which is pretty good, but I’m having some issues with it as well. let me know if you figure anything out.

I installed this as well and it isn’t working. Did either of you find a resolution?

Lisa: I completely gave up on LinkWithin and’ve been using Outbrain. Every once in a while, there’s a problem, but the outbrain people fix it.

Thanks. I’ll make that switch as well. Too bad though, I really liked the LinkWithin feature on my friends blog. Hopefully Outbrain will be very similar. If not, I’ll forego the whole idea. 🙂

Other than the few kinks (like having the suggested title repeated), I’ve been happy with it. You can see it on my blog if you want to look at it: http://www.TraciBunkers.com/blog
