    Hi,

Great form plugin, it’s really easy to use.

However, I have a need to include a read-only text area where I would like to place a license agreement that the user must agree to before submitting. The license is very long, so putting it in as a note is not ideal.

Is this something that can already be done, and if not, is it something that you would consider adding into the plugin?

    Thanks,
    Josh

My first thought is that you could put the license agreement on another page, and just have a link to it on the form. That being said, what if you could specify a size for the ‘note’, and anything larger would cause it to have a vertical scrollbar?

hoffcamp: I don’t think it is possible to have a link within the form, and I do not know of any way to specify the size, or style of the “note” item.

Ah.. I guess I left out some important details. For the link, you would have to put an actual HTML link into the note, and check the ‘HTML’ box. HTML links are easy, and this is a good description of how they work.

For the size / scrollbars, I was thinking of adding that as a feature, if that would suit your needs, since it seems like something that would be generally useful.

Ah, thanks for the explanation. Ok, I used a link in a note, and that works, but I do think it would be generally useful to be able to include a read-only text area, however you chose to implement that functionality ( as a note, etc).

    Thanks for your quick response!
