Problem With Titles on Multiple Pages

So I installed WordPress on my new domain. I built on the standard twenty ten theme. I have multiple pages. For some reason out of the blue, the title has reappeared above the banner on random pages but some pages don’t have the title whatsoever. Checked my general settings ‘title’ field and it’s blank. Also have added two different suggested strings of code at the end of my css style sheet in an attempt a.hide the title altogether and b.to push the title so far off the page it’s not visible. neither worked and I continue to experience the same problem. Anyone know what the problem might be?
