• I’m currently running version 3.1.2 and when I try to automatically update to version 3.14, I get the following error:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class Plugin_Upgrader in /home/content/62/6436862/html/wp-admin/includes/class-wp-upgrader.php on line 594

I had the same problem when trying to update to version 3.1.3

I’m not terribly proficient with the backend of WordPress, so I’m hoping this might be solvable without getting too deep in the coding and database admin realm. Any ideas?

    Bumping…

If there’s someplace someone could point me to that might yield an answer or some sort of diagnosis, I’d be most grateful.

    Thanks… Mike

I had a problem updating to 3.1.4, never had a problem before, but now many functions are hanging and timing out, like updating posts for example.

I did a manual re-install but still the same problem, even going back to the TwentyTwenty theme.

I hope you get your problem fixed. I have 3 updated sites down, the other 2 on 3.1.3 or earlier are ok though.
