hi, i was wondering how to show all of the posts on first page

Settings – > Reading. Increase the number of post per page.

Dashboard, settings, reading, Blog shows at most ____ You can put any number in here but the blog will be slow loading.
Actually, i need to change that in code. in my case i have two loops on first page. i want first loop to showall posts from given category and second to show only 5 posts per page.
