Trouble installing wordpress

    Hi,

    I am trying to install wordpress for a new domain via hostgator. I already have an account on hostgator with other sites so this is an adon domain.

    When i add wordpress the following message comes up:

    The installation can not be completed:

    – You cannot install more than one script in the root directory of a domain.

    Can someone please advise me on what to do next in installing wordpress.

    BTW i am using Fantastico to install wordpress

    I think it may be that trying install on your primary domain name when install you should have what domain you want to install.

    Normally there a root folder created when have add on domain name you need install in that folder
