For the new blog at http://www.americanblogging.com/index.php the MySQL database was correctly created and WordPress can connect to it. However, I keep getting the same server error message each time I attempt to log in at americanblogging.com/wp-login.php:

“The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request. The script had an error or it did not produce any output. If there was an error, you should be able to see it in the error log. ”

Host is BlueDomino.com but I am unable to access the error log.

BlueDomino seem to be generating a few posts .. you can’t get your error log and from other posts they do not provide phpmyadmin. I would imagine their services must be dirt cheap for such a level of service and totally recommend you switch away from them.

Anyway …….. as you have removed the “Anyone can register” option, it’s difficult to test this.

    Do you use irc ?

I took your excellent advice and dumped BlueDomino. I would urge anyone who has BlueDomino to dump them and get a better Web host. I am very pleased after I switched to PowWeb at http://powweb.com/ — one of the hosts mentioned on the Word Press hosting page http://wordpress.org/hosting/.
