• So I am a little confused. I started off with a wordpress.com account and paid the extra for my domain to be used instead of the .wordpress.com.
I then did some reading and decided I should go with a .org hosted website.
I signed up through Blue Host, installed the WordPress through the CPanel. I received the activitation and was told to log in at http://www.re-woodtoys.ca/wp-admin
I did this, but it seems to be bringing me to my wordpress.com log in and NOT the .org.

Am I confused? or missing something?

I basically want to make sure I get to the right page and that I am not using the wrong wordpress dashboard.

  • You need to change name servers in wordpress.com so that it points to blue host

Oh perfect…I didn’t think about the nameservers in wordpress.com, where are they located?

I have my domain nameservers (which are through godaddy) pointed already to the bluehost nameservers, so that doesn’t seem to be problem.

I got it working yesterday in .org for about 2 hours then it switched back over to .com. I don’t even know which site people are seeing when they go to the site.

Your domain name is now pointing to blue host so you should be all set to set up wordpress.
it should not switch over I went on your url http://www.re-woodtoys.ca/ and shows me a fresh install
