Default Gallery Pagination

    I was wondering if it is possible to create pagination while using the default WordPress gallery? When I post 40 pictures the post page gets ridiculously long, so I want to make it 20 pictures per page.

    I don’t want to use any other gallery plugins.

    If anyone knows if its possible to add pagination or display certain number of pictures in one single post per page?
