How did you install?
If through fantastico in the cpanel, your username is your account name for your hosting. If you installed manually (e.g. uploaded wp files) your username might be admin
The MySQL user name should go into the DB_User value in wp-config.php. The MySQL username should be easily visible at some point inside your webhost’s panel. This may provide more info: http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php
