align left

Hi,

Is there anybody out there. I’m not sure what it is but n one is helping me. It can’t be the way I look? Why?

Here goes: I have installed the minimalist theme, by Joey Robinson, i’m really happy with how my site looks. http://www.mecaniquemechanical.com/
It’s just over to the right. I’m trying to change float right to float left. But I have a child theme and whatever I change no changes occur?
