[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Sorting Galleries

    Thought this upgrade would let me sort galleries – but all I still see is sort images – have added 1s and 10s in front of Gallery names and tried different options for sorting images – but no change in the Gallery order.

    Would like to be able to sort them and then add new ones to be the top Gallery…

    You can now sort the gallery in the manage galleries page when you click on th ID / gallery name. You can’t sort them individual…

    HI Alex

    That takes me to sorting images I want to sort the order that the Galleries appear in i.e. Gallery5 with 50 images should appear above Gallery1 with 30 images

    Have organized their titles and tried changing the gallery titles – but that didn’t help either.

    Looked everywhere – maybe i am missing something??

    Nevermind – I finally figured it out!

    When using this [album id=x template=compact] previously I had used the name of the album to replace the ‘x’ not the id #. As a result all albums showed on the page in the reverse order that I had uploaded them!

    Now I am able to sort my galleries in Manage Albums and actually have them show up on the page!
