Begging for home button help

    Frankly, I don’t know how to get out of this one.

    For 2 weeks, I’ve tried to (first) get rid of the home button and make the about page the home page. This succeeded slightly, although I know have an about button and two home buttons.

    More changes were made, and now the home button on the far right is the default home page, but the button on the left is permanently there. I’ve changed the navigation in the header.php file, and just can’t get rid of it.

    I either need to get rid of the first home button and keep the second, or change the second button so it is no longer the main link to the home page and then delete it.

    I’ve been at this 2 weeks, I’ve read all the articles on how to create a static front page, and none of them work. If I don’t get it straightened out today, I’m going to first commit hari-kari and then revert back to the original theme and start all over again.

    set your menu up here and choose what buttons are displayed or not

    The current theme does not natively support menus, but you can use the “Custom Menu” widget to add any menus you create here to the theme’s sidebar.

    I’ve further taken out every reference to “home” in the header.php file, but the home button is still there..
