• For a class I had to create a blog, but I have some problems with the pictures, I upload them but they don’t show, I’m not sure what to do.
I’ve tried from different computers but in all that I’ve tried the pics don’t show.
    The blog is: blog.espol.edu.ec/scxrl3t
Any help would be very much appreciated.

  • Have you checked in your Media section to see if the photos are stored there? This should be located on the left-hand side of your Dashboard when you first log into WordPress.

yeah Ive checked there; some pics do appear, but others don’t, those appear as broken pic icon instead.

Well just to make sure, re-upload the images and make sure the image icon in the media uploader displays correctly. Now re-publish the pages with the newly-attached images. One you’ve published it go to the page and click CTRL + F5. This makes sure it’s reloading and not just showing the same page that’s been stored by your browser cache.

If that still doesn’t work, try looking at the image files. I’ve had a similar problem like this before and it seems that the blogI’m building would only display .gif images (and not .jpeg). Or maybe it’s the other way around for you. It depends but usually it has something to do with a bad plugin that messes up the code.

    Hope that resolves it 🙂

Check settings, media, store uploads in this folder. If you have wp-content/uploads in the blank space make sure there is not a / in front of the wp-content.
