how do I control the file destination behavior | WordPress.org

Hi, Thank you for an amazing plugin which I use mainly for presentation pdf´s for users on my wordpress site.

I would very much like to be able to make my file gallery open a new window, when users click on the individual files or make them download the file directly, instead of opening in the same window. Hope you can help me with this.

The only one I’ve seen is pretty old: http://weblogtoolscollection.com/news/topic/wp-plugin-open-picture-window-plugin

Generally though its NOT recommended unless you have to, since in 2011, people know to right-click and open in new tab 😉

😀 – I´ve learned never to underestimate the abillity to be baffled by a right-click maneuvre. 😀 Thanks for the reply and the link Ipstenu, I´ll check it out..

@kc media: I do not plan to add a “destination” option, but you could easily create your own template and set the links to have a target="_blank" attribute, or link to a custom PHP file which would force image download.
