    Hi,

I am trying to add a bit of code into my wordpress site, it is a “LiveChat” button and I need to have it on every page and post.

So, I have so far managed to add it to the Home page by editing “home.php” and the pages which are displayed as about us, bespoke, contact us etc on the top of the website by editing the “page.php” file

    but

I can’t get it added to the actual posts that I have without putting it directly into each post. I know I can add it to the “header.php” file but this looks very messy and adding it to the footer file seems to just hide it behind the footer that is already there. Any suggestions people? This is probably simple but I don’t have a clue…..

    The website is:

    http://www.everfurniture.com

    any help is appreciated!!

    Try editing single.php , index.php, archive.php etc.

Thanks for the reply, I’ll give those a go tomorrow as I can’t access it tonight. Would these be in the theme folder? It is a custom theme….. I can’t remember the directory structure as I’m not able to look until the morning….

    Thanks

Yes – they’re in your current theme’s folder.
