Two text widget block titles on a site are displaying as links, even though they were not entered to be links.

Interesting enough when I look at the code in Safari or Firefox 3+, there isn’t a link for the title, but in Firefox 4 and IE it is a link. So, this seems to be some kind of bug with how different browsers read the title code.

I don’t want the title to be a link – so how do I get it to not read that way?

It is the two widgets on the left side – one for FREE SONGS and one for EDUCATIONAL GAMES

Those errors are listed here. http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http%3a%2f%2fwww.kiboomu.com%2f

Most likely you have entered some incorrect code for widgets. Start there. The errors are cascading so if you fix one, often more will go away.

This is a standard text widget out of the box from wordpress. I just took over this site, so I am not sure if a previous person wrote some extra-code for widgets, I’ll need to look. I have looked at the two culprits, and there isn’t any code at all set for the title. Just the words. So, that is why I have been puzzled.

The validator will help – so thanks for that idea. I don’t think I would need that for what I thought was a browser issue.
