incorrect header display in explorer 8

My header doesn’t display well in explorer 8.

First header menu doesn’t display at all, second header menu appears downward instead of across the screen.
Also the whole display is shifted to the right rather than appearing in center screen.

display is correct in firefox!!

please help, but give clear file names and folders – I am pretty new at this!
