I have purchased a 3rd party theme (ThemeForest) and uploaded it to GoDaddy thru their site, and also thru CyberDuck on another occasion. Both times, it uploads fine and opens at the http://www.w-design-build.com but won’t allow me to access the wp-admin screen. Goes directly to the 500 Internal Server Error. HELP! Please, I’ve been trying to rename, reinstall, delete, everything and no luck!

Delete the .htaccess file in root; that’s probably the cause of the 500 errors.

the .htaccess file isn’t in the root…it’s in the _db access folder….?

Still having issues? I’m able to access http://www.w-design-build.com/wp-admin

SUCCESS! the maker of the theme resolved it….with a php file add on to resove “GoDaddy” hosting issue.

Is your site hosted on GoDaddy?

If so this issue has to with some recent changes GoDaddy has made to their servers.

Replacing the following file on your server:

wp-content/themes/infocus/lib/admin/tinymce/tinymce.php

With the one in the zip file below should resolve this:

⇢ http://themes.mysitemyway.com/infocus/content/downloads/tinymce.php.zip
