Backlink, and Spiderizon?

    Been working on a project – I’m a newbie when it comes to SEO. I’ve been trying to to increase visit, especially repeat visitors on my site.

    A friend has suggested should get more backlinks – I came across ‘Spiderizon’, which claims to increase backlink, but I’m not sure whether it would do more harm than good.

    I really would appreciate any advise on backlinking. 🙂

    Backlinks are important because Google (originally, anyway) uses them to evaluate page quality. The idea is that the more links there are to a site the better the information is. Presumably you won’t bother to link to a junk site but will only link to the ones that are helpful. Consequently, Google gets very irritated when someone tries to jack with that program. Now, from Spiderizon’s web site:

    * Each Spiderizon user has a script installed.
    * Then Spiderizon automatically create one way links between them by communicating to the Spiderizon Scripts, so that it creates quality backlinks.
    * It takes 2 minutes to set up !

    Does that sound like honestly linking to sites that you find useful or does it sound like jacking with the program? You decide.

    Don’t do it 🙂 it’s a scam and won’t help you at all.
