• I have a wordpress install that I have been configuring and tweaking before going live so it’s been up for 6 months or so having its plugins and wordpress updates installed automatically along the way. All of a sudden the dashboard is complaining about the version of WordPress. I am in the UK but as far as I know I just downloaded the standard English version from the website at the start.

Any clues why I might be seeing this warning? Can I get rid of it somehow?

You have the latest version of WordPress.

You have the latest version of WordPress. You do not need to update. However, if you want to re-install version 3.1.2–en_US, you can do so automatically or download the package and re-install manually:

    Download 3.1.2–en_US

You are about to install WordPress 3.1.2 in English (US). There is a chance this update will break your translation. You may prefer to wait for the localized version to be released.
