Thumbnails in Gallery theme aren't displaying correctly

Hi! I am working on a blog and have installed and activated the “Gallery” Thematic theme. I have installed and used this theme on 2 other blogs previously and haven’t had this issue. Perhaps those earlier blog are a different version or something? I also have been working on them on different computer, etc… These haven’t been displaying correctly from the start so it doesn’t seem to be something I accidentally changed.

As you should see, where the post thumbs are supposed to display in a grid with the hovering showing title and hiding it. Instead they are showing in line as if the script for the hover isn’t working. I am not familiar enough to troubleshoot this and would appreciate help.
