There are two things you should check, but first there is also a wealth of information on the official blog that you should check out for more information at http://catablog.illproductions.com/
I believe I addressed this issue in the post about release 1.2.5. Now, how to solve your problem.
First: make sure the jQuery selector is set to .catablog-image in the lightbox tab of the CataBlog Options Admin Panel.
Second: make sure to reload the gallery template in CataBlog to get compatibility with the latest plugin enhancements.

First of all, thanks for a quick response! Setting the jQuery to .catablog-image solved the issue, but there is still a minor problem – NEXT and PREV buttons don’t work (X button does work) in LightBox windows. You can see that on http://www.jelastil.net/proizvodi/stolnjaci/.
Any tips how to deal with this?

And I just noticed that LightBoxes still don’t work in IE8. With previous version of CataBlog it all worked perfectly on both browsers.

Load the Firebug console and you will get this message
You are using the CataBlog LightBox in an out of date fashion, please reload the Catablog template in the admin options panel.
instructing you to reload the gallery template. please confirm that you have gone to the template tab in the CataBlog Options panel and select gallery and click load, then click the save button at the bottom of the page.

I don’t mean to hijack this thread but I’m having a similar problem in IE8 with lightbox.
I’m using version 3.1.2 of WordPress and version 1.26 of the Catablog plugin.
I have reloaded the gallery template and ensured that the .catablog-image CSS class is what is being used for the Lightbox jQuery selector.
The problem I’m having is that sporadically the lightbox won’t work in IE8. Sometimes the Lighbox effect is triggered and other times it just loads the full size image. It seems to work all the time in all other major browsers, but for some reason in IE8, the Lightbox loads sometimes and doesn’t other times. It’s pretty strange. The URL for my site is http://prevata.headbandmedia.com. I have the site password protected at the moment but would be happy to private message you the login details.

Hi Ryan,
I won’t have a chance to look at your page today, but I was curious if you are loading other JavaScript libraries, extensions or code. In particular I am interested in anything else that might break IE8 because, if one JS error manifests then the entire page breaks. You should see a yellow exclamation point at the lower left of the IE8 window, you may double click this yellow warning sign and get a better idea where the JavaScript broke. You should also try the twentyten theme and disabling other plugins to see if the erratic behavior goes away. Hope that helps, cheers!

I just thought I’d let you know that I sorted my issue out. I was using a jQuery slider and there was a javascript conflict between the slider and CataBlog. Thanks for following up!

awesome man, thank you so much. i’m gonna be releasing a new version with some bug fixes and the ability to add and remove categories from multiple catalog items at once. still working towards the multiple image uploads, i want to make sure its done right. cheers!
