turn construction mode off

    All of my updates are complete, yet I am still getting the ‘Under Construction Mode’ on my blog, how can I turn this off?

    Did you install any plugin if so just deactivate the plugin

    I have only three plugins, Akismet, Hello Dolly, and WordPress backup, none of which should affect the construction mode. I recall seeing somehwere that the construction mode is on as long as updates are in progress, but I have nothing running right now. Just need to figure out how to get OUT of construction mode, and I am sure there is a simple solution, but I am not finding it!

    Did you change name servers at registrar as or domain name may be still parked.
    or
    You may have a place holder in root some thing like index.html or default.html that is stopping you delete the file
