    Hi guys,

Not sure what version I am running so please have a look if you can tell http://www.your5aday.com

Issue I am having is it lets me upload new themes, but I can’t upload plugins, and I can’t update the custom theme like doing a custom menu.

When you click on it a white screen appears and nothing happens.

Lastly, tried installing latest WordPress and that doesn’t help either. Anyone out there that can help?

    thanks

You are running WordPress 3.0.4 and should upgrade to the latest version asap.

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

I have switched to Twenty Ten theme and deactivated the two plugins.

I tried then downloading the latest version straight onto WordPress. Didnt work.

The only two plugins there are is Akismet and Hello Dolly, both deactivated.

Haven’t tried the last step, bit over my head!

The latest version of what? If you mean WordPress, you actually need to upgrade – not just download the files.

Sorry – yes I meant ‘WordPress 3.1.1 is available! Please update now.’

Clicking update and trying to upload automatically but it doesn’t work

In what way doesn’t it work?

When I click automatically update it just goes to the next screen which says ‘Downloading update from http://wordpress.org/wordpress-3.1.1.zip…

    And does nothing more

    Try adding

    AddType x-mapp-php5 .php
    AddHandler x-mapp-php5 .php

to the top of your WordPress .htaccess file.
